Progress on Scrapghan

In my last post I mentioned that I'm making a "scrapghan". It's an afghan that I'm using my "scraps" to make, well, and some other skeins that I've had to use to make the colors cohesive. I've basically been doing a variegated and solid and keeping with that pattern for the most part of it. I've had to reconfigure the yarn order several times and purchase a few skeins to keep the colors flowing.
I think it's coming along pretty well. Here are some photos of it.
This one is a closeup view of it.

Here is a wider view of it.

I'm really loving the look of this and can't wait to finish it. I've decided to do the border in black to "pop" the colors.

What do you think of it??

Until next time!

Poncho and Matching Hat Finished

I finally finished my poncho the other day and decided to whip up a floppy hat to go with it. I take terrible selfies so no photos of me in it. I love how warm it is.

I'm currently working on a "scrapghan", an afghan made with my yarn scraps. It's looking good so far. I'll take photos of it once I'm further along with it.

I hope ya'll have been keeping warm! The weather has been wild here lately, cold and rainy, then warm a few days, then back to cold again. Of course it's almost always windy here, being so close to the coast. Keep warm & stay safe!

Until next time!
