Rainbow Beanie & Dinosaur Hat

I spent this past weekend at my youngest daughter's home. We celebrated my granddaughter Z's 14th birthday and my grandson G's 3rd birthday. I brought along the dinosaur hat that I made for G. Here he is modeling it.

I do believe he likes it, such a cute little smile. It's a little big on him but I wanted it that way so he could wear it longer.
Here's a shot of the back of the hat.

Here is my beautiful 14 year old granddaughter Z in her rainbow beanie. I whipped it up while I was there.
The black trim really made the colors pop. It's a a little bit big on her but she's still growing so she'll grow into it.
We had a great time visiting, of course it's never long enough. I'm glad they love their hats.

Last night I made a pocket for my newest crocheted bag to hold my cellphone in. It's always falling to the bottom of the bag and the pocket makes it SO convenient.  No more digging around for my cellphone.

I had ordered a set of ergonomic crochet hooks from Amazon and they were waiting on me when I got home. I LOVE the feel of them, although I need to take some sandpaper to the inside of the hooks as there are some small burs on them that snag the yarn. Otherwise I love them.

Well there's yarn to roll into balls and I have to figure out what I'm making next.

Until next time!
